POSEIDON Team Hosts Webinar on Water Quality Portal

On September 22, 2025, the POSEIDON Portal Team hosted a virtual webinar, Unlock the POSEIDON Water Quality Portal: Transforming Water Quality Data into Decisions, with participants from academia, government, NGOs, and industry across Canada and internationally.

The session was led by Solutionscapes team members, Dr. Nandita Basu, Dr. Julie Mai (University of Waterloo) and Dr. Kimberly Van Meter (Penn State University) in collaboration with Meghan McLeod of DataStream. The team introduced the POSEIDON Water Quality Portal, a platform that brings together monitoring data and predictive AI tools for water quality analysis.

The webinar provided an overview of key features and situated POSEIDON within broader watershed management contexts and efforts to improve water quality data and coordination.
