Savannah Bindas Presents Research on Biogas Emissions at U.S. EPA Emissions Inventory Conference

From September 15-18, 2025, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency hosted the International Emissions Inventory Conference, a virtual event bringing together researchers and practitioners working on emissions inventory data, methods, and applications.

On September 17, Savannah Bindas, PhD researcher at the University of Waterloo and  member of the Solutionscapes Bioenergy Team, presented a talk titled Atmospheric Emissions Associated with the Use of Biogas in Ontario. The presentation examined greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions associated with biogas adoption as a waste-management strategy in Ontario, considering implications for emissions accounting and climate policy.
